BIOSTIMULATORS

Stimulate your body’s own collagen production

Bio-stimulators are injectable treatments designed to spread like honey when injected into the skin. These treatments have been scientifically shown in studies to improve wound healing and the production of type I and II collagen.  Over time, our body breaks its collagen down, causing skin to lose fullness and elasticity.  Our faces experience hollowing, folds and wrinkles. Collagen biostimulators trigger the natural process of collagen production, which replenishes volume and encourages your body to rebuild its own collagen over time.  This results in smoother, firmer, tighter and younger-looking skin whilst slowing skin ageing.  Collagen and elastin play an important role in helping to support and provide structure to the uppermost layers of your skin.

Around the age of 20, our skin begins to produce 1% less collagen every year. This causes the skin to become thinner and more fragile as we get older.  With diminishing collagen levels, the skin loses its elasticity and firmness, resulting in the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and sagging.  Remember, it’s never too early to start investing in your skin’s health!

Collagen is a fibrous protein that forms a supportive three-dimensional network in the skin.  As the skin ages, this network gradually breaks down and becomes fragmented.  The loss of collagen  results in visible signs of aging such as sagginess, skin roughness, and wrinkle formation.  The purpose of collagen biostimulators is to activate the skin’s own production of new collagen. The increase of collagen changes the skin’s appearance and improves skin quality by enhancing its radiance and elasticity.  Collagen Biostimulators can serve as preventative measures against premature aging or as corrective solutions to address visible signs of aging.

RADIESSE

Radiesse is a non-surgical cosmetic treatment that is composed of calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHa). This composition resembles the composition of the naturally occurring calcium found in your teeth and bones that is suspended in a water-based gel carrier. Once Radiesse is injected into your skin, it immediately adds volume and give definition to areas of the face that have lost volume or wrinkled. Moreover, Radiesse helps stimulate the healthy production of collagen to keep the skin firm, and young.

Radiesse treatments can help provide volume to the chin, cheeks and jaw, to give a more structured effect to your face. It also decreases the appearance of deep acne scars and rejuvenate areas with loss of elasticity like the back of hands, decolletmaking prominent veins and wrinkles instantly disappear. Prior to your treatment, we will conduct a thorough consultation to determine whether you are a candidate for Radiesse.

Radiesse should not be used in areas where the skin is delicately thin such as under the eyes or on the lips.
