DERMAL FILLERS
WHAT ARE DERMAL FILLERS?
HYALURONIC ACID
The body naturally produces Hyaluronic Acid (HA), a hydrating substance that keeps the skin plump and youthful. As we age, HA is gradually broken down and its production decreases resulting in duller skin appearance. Because hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance in your body, overtime, the same enzyme that naturally break it down, will gradually dissolve the HA filler.
Hyaluronic Acid (HA) fillers are by far the most commonly used dermal fillers for facial rejuvenation. They can be used most effectively and naturally to restore areas of lost volume in the face that occurs with aging. Strategic and skilful placement of filler can lift and support the face without the need for a surgical procedure.
Dermal fillers can smooth fine lines on the forehead and the lower face. Moderate lines occurring in the mouth to chin area can be softened. Cheeks and chins can be remodelled and given more definition. Scars can be minimized, while lips can be defined or enhanced, subtly and naturally.
SCULPTRA
Sculptra is a biostimulator and a collagen-stimulating face injection solution that works from within the deeper layers of the skin to enhance collagen production and restore your skin’s health and glow. Sculptra is a composed of a bio-degradable poly-L-lactic acid(PLLA) substance which, when injected under the skin, gradually build new collagen strands to provide a fuller look. Sculptra can be used to treat deep lines, creases, and folds to give a more youthful appearance.
RADIESSE
Radiesse is a non-surgical cosmetic treatment that is composed of calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHa). This composition resembles the composition of the naturally occurring calcium found in your teeth and bones that is suspended in a water-based gel carrier. Once Radiesse is injected into your skin, it immediately adds volume and give definition to areas of the face that have lost volume or wrinkled. Moreover, Radiesse helps stimulate the healthy production of collagen to keep the skin firm, and young.
Radiesse treatments can help provide volume to the chin, cheeks and jaw, to give a more structured effect to your face. It also decreases the appearance of deep acne scars and rejuvenate areas with loss of elasticity like the back of hands, decolletmaking prominent veins and wrinkles instantly disappear. Prior to your treatment, we will conduct a thorough consultation to determine whether you are a candidate for Radiesse.
Radiesse should not be used in areas where the skin is delicately thin such as under the eyes or on the lips.

INTRODUCING THE 8-POINT LIFT
Designed by Mauricio de Maio, a well-known Brazilian plastic surgeon, the 8 Point Face Lift has changed the face of aesthetic medicine and plastic surgery as we know it. Dr de Maio discovered that a combination of Botox and Fillers could be strategically placed along the face (particularly the lower face) in order to achieve a balanced and lifted look by supporting areas of the face where loss of volume has occured.
What Is an 8 Point Lift?
An 8 Point Face Lift is a non-surgical procedure that adds volume, structure and gives lift to certain facial features using dermal fillers. This is made possible by using the most advanced injection techniques to strategically place the facial fillers in areas of concern such as:
- Hollowing under eye areas
- Deepening nasolabial Folds
- Deflated cheekbones
- Loss of volume in the midface
- Weak chin
- Drooping sad mouth corners
- Heavy jowling
- Poorly defined jawline
What are the benefits of an 8 Point Lift?

Your face refreshed!
The 8-point lift is a customizable technique that allows to achieve a more lifted, renewed, yet natural look by injecting small amounts of dermal fillers into precise areas of the face.
- Points 1 and 2: Enhances your cheekbones and lifts your cheeks. Lifting your cheeks also helps smooth out nasolabial folds (the parentheses marks that can appear on each side of your nose).
- Point 3: Softens your tear troughs and reduces the appearance of deep circles under your eyes.
- Point 4: Reduces nasolabial folds and gives your upper lip a lift.
- Point 5: The corners of your mouth turn down with age, leading to a constant frown appearance. Treating this area lifts the corners of your mouth, improves marionette lines, and makes you look younger and happier.
- Point 6: Jowls cans form after a loss of volume in the jaw, cheek, or chin. Replacing volume in the hollow along your jawline can help reduce the appearance of jowls.
- Point 7: With age you lose the sharpness and angle of your jaw. Injecting this area with filler can sharpen your jawline and lift your lower face.
- Point 8. When the area underneath your cheeks become hollow, you may notice vertical “accordion lines”. Filling in this area improves the structure of your cheeks and smooths out these wrinkles.
